The Myers Group is pleased to announce the opening of its latest branch – Myers Building Supplies at Knaresborough.
Located North East of Knaresborough on Hambleton Grove, the branch is easily accessible from the A59 and will serve customers in that particular area whose nearest branch would previously have been Leyburn or Leeds. The opening of the branch at Knaresborough takes the branch count up to 15, which includes a specialist timber branch at Huddersfield.
Myers Group Directors, James Berry and Katie Berry, are committed to expanding the Myers branch network and look forward to opening further branches in the region in the not too distant future. The new branch at Knaresborough follows the acquisition of a branch at Leeds and the expansion of the branch at Sowerby Bridge, during the last two years.

The new branch will be fully stocked with a core product range as well as featuring an indoor landscape display area. The addition of a kitchen and bathroom display is on the way which will enhance the product offering. The branch features a literature library and project discussion area, so customers can find all the information they need in the one place, no matter what type of project they are working on.
Kelvin Wintersgill, Branch Manager at Myers Building Supplies Knaresborough, will be a familiar face to many as he’s local to the area, having been employed in the timber merchant industry for many years.
Kelvin commented, “I’m really looking forward to meeting customers, discussing their projects and helping them find the best products for the job whilst always ensuring we are fully stocked with core building materials”.
To celebrate the opening of the Knaresborough branch, customers are invited to attend a launch event on Tuesday 25th July, which will feature exciting product offers together with an opportunity to meet the team. There will also be special events from suppliers.
Myers Building Supplies Knaresborough branch is due to open its doors to trade and public in the first week of July 2017.
