Product Description
Our rustic dry stone walling is made from Yorkstone suitable for landscaping and agricultural use. Also known as field walling this product is a naturally bedded material that is present at or near the surface. For hundreds of years, it has been utilised as a building material to establish property lines and build fencing after being originally extracted from agricultural land.
Because it is a naturally occurring stone, the size, colour, and texture will vary, resulting in incredibly intricate walling that is frequently seen throughout the countryside and used in many properties.
They are widely used to construct retaining walls to stabilise steep embankments because of their ability to support enormous weights. This is a preferable alternative for holding back material and serves as a point of focus rather than employing timber supports or concrete walls.
If you’re looking for a more uniform look, then you may find our Premium Sawn Bedded Dry Stone Walling to be a better fit for your project!
