Conversely, the ‘Extratime’ plaster retarder extends setting times by a similar margin, providing additional working time for larger surfaces or intricate work. Both additives are easy to use and have been tested to meet relevant British and European standards, ensuring reliability and performance.
Product Description
Halftime 4BONDING Plaster Accelerator is a chemical additive for use with bonding plaster. The additive creates a fast set plaster by speeding up the chemical crystal formation that causes plaster to set or harden. Halftime 4Bonding is recommended for shortening the setting time of bonding plaster. Halftime will shorten the setting time to 20 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature and relative humidity of the working environment.

- Ideal for jobs where time is important.
- Use with gypsum bonding plaster.
- 1 Sachet for every 7 Litres of water with pink bonding plaster (approx. 12.5Kg of bonding plaster).
- 1 Sachet for every 5 Litres of water with grey bonding plaster (approx. 12.5Kg of bonding plaster).
Instructions
- Pour clean fresh water into a mixing bucket.
- Open Halftime 4Bonding sachet and whisk thoroughly.
- Gradually add plaster and whisk thoroughly.
- Continue adding and whisking plaster until smooth, lump free and it reaches the desired consistency.
- Apply exactly as normal bonding plaster and enjoy a super fast setting time.
