HSS Drill Bits

High Speed Steel (HSS) drill bits have been specifically designed for drilling through sheet metals such as steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. The sharp angled tip readily cuts through the material, while the helix form of the bit removes debris as it works its way through it. HSS bits may be used on a variety of materials, including wood and plastics with no problems, and it is usually advised that thinner bits be used with light pressure.
