Decking & Timber Screws

Myers stock high corrosion resistant and slash tip timber screws which eliminate the need for pre-drilling which also minimises the chance of splitting the timber. Our decking screws come in a variety of colour, finishes and head types to ensure that you get a perfect finish every time. For larger applications, they’re available in a range of lengths and pack sizes.

Torx Head (TX)

A Torx bit has six rounded tips and a star-shaped recess in the fastener. When compared to other drive systems, it is designed to allow for greater torque transfer from the driver to the bit.

Hex Drive (HEX)

A Hex Screw Drive uses six-sided fastener heads and is known as a hex head cap screw. External drive fasteners have the advantage of not having a recess in the head that can collect water, dirt, or paint, obstructing the later insertion of a driver tool.
