Cover Slabs

Cover slabs are heavy-duty, reinforced concrete slabs that serve as a platform for capping the manhole chamber and providing a foundation for any regulating brickwork before the manhole lid is installed. Also known as reducing slabs, they can reduce the access point opening size into the chamber.
